Accounting, bookkeeping & controlling

Calculating is quick. Understanding takes longer.

In cost accounting and controlling, both count: the calculation and what it means. Participants who only apply the formula do not know why on the next case. And in the exam they cannot explain what the result means for the business.

An evening with the course notes

Controller · Module 4 Contribution margin

Example

A study evening in four moments: at 8:30 pm the break-even formula in the notes is clear. At 9:20 pm the intermediate step is missing in the practice case. At 10:05 pm a general chatbot answers with a different formula. At 10:20 pm the question is noted for the next class.

Example study evening in a controlling course.
  • Formulas get memorised.

Participants who do not understand the contribution margin cannot tell which figure moves when the case changes.

  • The exam asks what it means.

Besides the number, the interpretation counts: what does the result mean, and which assumptions sit behind it?

  • General AI calculates differently.

It picks its own approaches and terms, answers without a source and confuses more than it clarifies.

In the course

At 10:05 pm, your course notes now have the answer.

The AI tutor explains the missing step with your course notes as the source and in your terms. A free-text exercise then checks calculation and interpretation one by one, and flashcards keep formulas and terms fresh until the exam.

Calculations with a page reference.

Every explanation points to the passage in your materials and uses your course’s terms. Participants jump from the chat straight to the page.

Getting started

Start with one module.

Choose a module with clear exam relevance. We set it up with your teaching team, a first group learns with it, and you decide on the next modules based on how it is used.

  1. Course notes with formulas and examples, practice cases with worked solutions and your assessment criteria form the basis.

How we support your rollout

Choose module and materials

Course notes with formulas and examples, practice cases with worked solutions and your assessment criteria form the basis.

Set up with your teaching team

Your teaching team reviews explanations and feedback, sets the AI guidelines and releases the module.

First group, first review

After the first weeks you see which topics the group struggles with and plan the next modules.

Good to know

Your questions. A clear start.

Let’s talk about your course.

Book a call
Are only final results checked?

No. Your teaching team sets separate criteria, for example for approach, calculation and interpretation. Feedback shows which part of the answer is missing.

Does the tutor use our terms and methods?

Yes. Explanations draw on your released materials and show the source, so they stay with your course’s terms, formulas and solution methods.

Can we use our own numerical examples?

Yes. Your own exercises and worked examples can be part of the course. Reviewed cases with traceable solutions are a good place to start.

Are our materials used to train AI models?

No. Your content is not used to train AI models. Processing takes place in the EU, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

How do we start?

With one module and a first group. We set it up together with your teaching team and review the first weeks. Then you decide on further modules.
