Where we come from

From research, for practice.

acemate was founded at TU Berlin and developed together with more than 30 universities. Today acemate is a technology partner of the DIHK and works with academies, professional-education providers and specialist publishers.

Every organisation that teaches, examines or certifies will need its own AI-native learning environment. acemate builds the platform for it.

We start where the need is clearest: exam-oriented education programmes with high-quality content and scarce support capacity.

Four convictions that shape everything.

Pedagogy first

Good teaching cannot be thrown together in two afternoons. Our foundation is pedagogical substance, not an AI feature.

Sources, not hallucination

Every answer points to the exact spot in the material. What is not grounded is marked as such.

Privacy as a prerequisite

Processed in the EU, with no training on customer data, contractually safeguarded. Non-negotiable.

A note from our founders

Why we started acemate.

acemate began with a simple observation: learning is deeply personal, but most educational software treats everyone the same.

Two people can sit in the same course, read the same material and prepare for the same exam, and still get stuck on completely different things. For a long time, education technology mostly organised content and administration. It rarely understood where learning actually happens.

That is the part we are building. Not to replace educators, but to give every learner real support and every institution a clearer view of what their learners need, with the structure, privacy and control that education requires.
