If the tutor finds the answer in the released sources, it links the page. If it comes from a protected background source, it points to the extended course context. And if the question sits outside the course, it still answers, but flags that the answer is not based on the course material.

Can the tutor make things up?
The tutor answers from the selected materials and names the sources it used. If it cannot find the information there, it says so instead of inventing an answer.
How do I control which documents are used?
In the chat's source menu you can select or deselect individual files or whole folders, so the tutor only uses the materials relevant to your current question.
Why does the tutor sometimes find no answer?
Usually no matching source is selected or a document is still processing. For scanned or image-heavy material, advanced extraction at upload helps the tutor read the content.
